In the Season 7 finale, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) left Booth (David Boreanaz) in the dust to go on the lam with her former convict father Max (guest star Ryan O'Neal) after she was framed for murder by hacker/serial killer Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds). When the Fox drama's action picks up three months later this fall (Monday, Sept. 17 at 8/7c), Brennan will still be off the grid and Booth will be called to action to bring his baby mama home.
