Ratings: Terra Nova Up, Dancing Rebounds

On Monday night, Terra Nova attracted 7.67 million viewers and a 2.6 rating among 18-to-49-year-olds, up 16 percent in viewers and an impressive 24 percent in the demo, Nielsen's fast overnights show. But the real winner Monday night was Dancing with the Stars, averaging 18.02 million and 3.3 demo rating — up 18 percent over last week's series low — over two hours starting at 8/7c. Over the same span, NBC's The Sing-Off pulled in 4.20 million (1.5).

Also rebounding a week after trick-or-treaters pulled their parents out of the house,House called on 7.54 million people (2.7, up 8 percent) at 9/8c.

In prime time's final hour, viewership for the second outing of Rock Center with Brian Williams declined to 3.51 million from 4.13 million, while sustaining a 1.0 demo rating. For the eighth straight week of the new season, Castle nabbed the most viewers in the final hour of Monday's prime time — 11.27 million vs. 9.95 million for CBS' Hawaii Five-0, which won demo battle, 3.0 to 2.5.

As for the CBS comedy block: How I Met Your Mother (10.36 million/4.4 demo rating); 2 Broke Girls (11.34 million/4.5); Two and a Half Men (14.52 million/5.1)); and Mike & Molly (11.99 million/4.2).

On The CW, Gossip Girl drew 1.27 million (0.6) and Hart of Dixie 1.39 million (0.6).
