Ratings: Bachelor Hits Season Highs; Castle, Deception Grow

ABC was the only network to grow on what turned out to be a very low Monday.
The Bachelor drew 8.4 million viewers and a 2.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, hitting season highs in both measures. Lead-out Castle (8.9 million, 2.0) was up two-tenths.
ABC placed second behind CBS, which saw all of its shows drop. After hitting a season high last week, How I Met Your Mother (9 million, 3.2) fell eight-tenths. But it was still the second highest-rated show of the night behind 2 Broke Girls (10.8 million, 3.5), which slipped two-tenths.

NBC's Deception (3.3 million, 1.3) was the only other show to grow, inching up a tenth behind The Biggest Loser (5.5 million, 2.0), which hit a season low.

On Fox, Bones (8.7 million, 2.2) slipped two-tenths and The Following (7.7 million, 2.4) dropped five-tenths.
