The good news for American Idol? It won Wednesday night. The bad? It suffered another huge drop.
The former Fox juggernaut topped the night — which featured Part 1 of its Top 24 reveal — with 15.9 million viewers and a 5.1 rating in the adults 18-to-49 demo, but was down 16 percent from last week and more than 30 percent in the demo from last year's Top 24 unveiling.
Idol: Who made the top 24?
Survivor: One World (10.3 million, 2.8) also suffered a big dip, plummeting 10 percent in the demo to hit a series low.

Like last week, CSI was one of two shows to post gains, drawing 11.8 million and a 2.8, up from last week's 11.1 million and a 2.7. Happy Endings was the other show, going up a tenth in the demo to 2.5, with 5.7 million viewers.
