Now this feels more like an Aaron Sorkin show.
A new trailer for his upcoming HBO series The Newsroom strikes a considerably different tone than that of the first, in which brash news anchor Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) has a Howard Beale-like meltdown. But Trailer No. 2 shows it's not all angry intensity as an even-keeled McAvoy tries amends with his new cable news show, Newsnight 2.0, and we get the usual fast-paced, clever Sorkin dialogue we know so well.

The second trailer also introduces McAvoy's staffers, who are played by Jon Tenney, Emily Mortimer, Alison Pill, John Gallagher, Jr., Olivia Munn, Dev Patel and Thomas Sadoski.
