Melissa Joan Hart Named New Spokesperson for Nutrisystem

Move over, Jennifer Hudson and Jessica Simpson! There's a new celebrity weight loss spokesperson in town.

Melissa Joan Hart has signed on as the new face of Nutrisystem, the company announced Tuesday.

The Melissa & Joeystar, 36, has already shed 20 pounds on the program after she gave birth to her third child, Tucker, in September. "I love working with Nutrisystem," she said in a statement. "The program is really delivering results for me and I look forward to long term success, staying motivated and helping others do the same."

Hart joins fellow Nutrisystem brand ambassadors Marie Osmond and NFL commentator and former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, among others.

In addition to her ABC Family sitcom, Hart is known for her starring roles in Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
