Mega Buzz: Grey's Exits, a Minds Resurrection and a Revolution Death

NATALIE: Derek and Meredith are leaving Grey Sloan Memorial! The new parents will take a leave of absence to care for baby Bailey and young Zola. "They're struggling a bit because they want to get back in the ER," Patrick Dempsey says. "They're just losing their minds and they want to have something else to do. They get stuck just doing dishes and diapers."

How is The Reaper going to return to Criminal Minds? — Terry
ADAM: There are only a few ways a dead character can resurface -- short of reanimation -- and, well, there is no Walking Dead crossover planned. Instead, both The Reaper (C. Thomas Howell) and Hotch's late wife Haley (Meredith Monroe) will appear in one of Hotch's dreams on the fifth episode of the new season. "It starts with flashbacks [to Hotch's stabbing] and then it turns, as dreams do, into this really interesting sequence where he sees both Haley and Foyet alive," showrunner Erica Messer tells us. What triggers this vision? Well, let's just say that Hotch isn't exactly just catching some ZZZs when it happens.

Is there anything you can tell us about Revolution? — Ken
NATALIE: Six months have passed since that fateful night on Level 12 and Rachel is only just recovering from a total breakdown — which we'll experience via flashbacks to the aftermath of the Atlanta and Philly bombings. She's determined to figure out if Randall was acting on someone's orders, and the worst is yet to come. In possibly related news, a beloved character will fall victim to a dangerous new group.

Happy to hear about the Boneswedding, but I want to know about the honeymoon! — Diana
ADAM: Executive producer Stephen Nathan promises that the newlyweds will indeed celebrate in an exotic locale, but they won't be able to escape death. "I don't see why two people who love investigating murders wouldn't have, as a lovely wedding present, a murder to investigate on their honeymoon," Nathan says with a laugh. But don't take the death as a bad omen for their marriage. Although there will be struggles, Nathan predicts a happy union. "We don't want to put these two in a situation that we dreamt about for nine years and then imply that the relationship is in jeopardy," he says. "We're going to honor that relationship."

What's coming up on Revenge? — Jarrett
NATALIE: Jack and Emily will have a steamy, but not necessarily happy reunion. To wit: It won't distract Emily from her quest to take down the Graysons, starting with Conrad, in one of the most devious plots of revenge yet. But the flash-forward that kicks off the season may make you wonder how the series will be able to continue.

If Rigsby and Van Pelt are leaving The Mentalist, will they at least get a happy ending? — Sarah
ADAM: We took your question directly to creator Bruno Heller. Although he says that the Red John investigation won't necessarily have a cheery ending for anyone involved, Rigsby and Van Pelt will have reason to celebrate before the case is closed. "I don't think I'm giving away too much to say that by the time [that story line ends], they are husband and wife," Heller says. "[Episode 3] is the Rigsby-and-Van Pelt episode to watch. I don't know your views on marriage, but [it's] most people's happy ending."

What's coming up for Nick and Jess on New Girl? — James
NATALIE: Just because the duo decided to get together at the end of last season doesn't mean it's all hearts and flowers, especially since their problems haven't really disappeared. For example, will Nick ever get his life together? Probably not. "They're still dealing with all those issues," executive producer Liz Meriwether says. "Schmidt is actively trying to break them up, so they're battling Schmidt too. They have a lot going against them and we'll see if they can make it."

Don't tell me Ted actually gives Robin the locket on How I Met Your Mother. — Emily
ADAM: We can neither confirm nor deny (you did see Lily tackle him, yes?), but we can tell you that Ted does gives Robin a gift in the season premiere. What's in the box? Something old indeed.

What are we going to see for Oliver on Arrowthis season? — Dawn
NATALIE: Oliver will kick off the second season actually being an enemy of Starling City since the police are feeling overwhelmed in the aftermath of the Undertaking. "For some people, he's become the symbol for what's wrong with the city," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. "One of Oliver's missions this year is to change the way the police and the public feel about the vigilante." As for Oliver on the island, we'll find out by the end of Episode 3 if he really spent all five years there.

ADAM: More good news for Team Stefan! Paul Wesley recently said that he believes that Stefan will never truly get over Elena. "That love has to always exist," he says. So how will they keep the triangle alive now that Damon and Elena are so happily in love? Look for an early-season reveal that suggests that Elena and Stefan will forever be linked. 

I'm so excited for Once Upon a Time in Wonderland! — Marcus
NATALIE: Join the club! I've learned that My Super Psycho Sweet 16's Lauren McKnight has landed a potentially recurring arc as Elizabeth, a native of Wonderland who finds herself entangled in Alice's quest. Word on the street is that Elizabeth is also known as The Lizard, but it's unclear whether there's a connection to this lizard.

I can't believe that Burn Notice is almost over! What can you tease about the finale? —
ADAM: To say almost anything is to say too much, but we're confident that viewers will walk away satisfied when the final credits roll. Although Michael's actions provoke a tense stand-off, his heroics eventually lead to a pretty happy ending. And yes, even that death that everyone is talking about will give fans more heart-warming closure than you might expect.
