The Love Boat Cast to Reunite on The Talk

All aboard for a Love Boat reunion?

The cast of the long-running soap is reuniting on The Talk, CBS announced Friday.

Cast members Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Ted Lange, Fred Grandy, Lauren Tewes and Jill Whelan will all appear on the Nov. 5 episode. Singer Jack Jones will also perform The Love Boat's original theme song live during the hour.

Which shows should reunite?

The cast will spill behind-the-scenes stories from the set, their favorite celebrity guests and the episodes they most enjoyed. MacLeod will also discuss his new book, This is Your Captain Speaking: My Fantastic Voyage Through Hollywood, Faith & Life. 

The Love Boat premiered in 1977 on ABC and ran for 10 seasons.

The Talk airs weekdays at 2 p.m. /ET and 1 p.m./PT on CBS. Are you excited for The Love Boat reunion?
