A&E Renews Longmire for Season 3

Longmire, the A&E crime drama starring Robert Taylor as a sheriff in Wyoming, has been renewed for a 10-episode third season, the network announced Monday. The series is A&E's leading original drama series of all time in total number of viewers.

"Longmire has become one of the most compelling dramas on television with a devoted audience and we are so proud of the show," A&E boss David McKillop said in a statement."We are thrilled to continue our wonderful partnership with Warner Horizon Television, the production team, and the talented cast and crew led by the exceptional Robert Taylor."

The show, based on the mystery novels by Craig Johnson, also stars Katee Sackhoff and Lou Diamond Phillips.
