Kanye West has been forced to postpone three dates on his current The Yeezus Tour because of damaged equipment, Entertainment Weekly reports.

According to a statement from West's rep, a truck carrying the tour's custom-made video truss and 60-ft circular LED screen was in an accident in Vancouver that damaged the gear "beyond repair."

TV's most memorable weddings

The statement called this gear "central" to the staging of The Yeezus Tour and to West's creative vision. "As a result of this event, it is impossible to put on the show and The Yeezus Tour will be postponed until these essential pieces can be reengineered and refabricated," the statement continued. "Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans."

So far, just shows in Vancouver, Denver and Minneapolis have been postponed. Further details about these rescheduled dates will be announced shortly.

Yeezus, West's sixth studio album, was released in June, three days after the birth of his and Kim Kardashian's daughter, North.
