Jeffrey Tambor is back to playing a family man — sort of.

Tambor will guest-star in the Season 4 premiere of Raising Hope as the estranged father of Virginia (Martha Plimpton), TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. In the episode, the Chances take notice of a stranger they begin seeing around town — but his cover's blown after Maw Maw (Cloris Leachman) sees a photo of the man Burt (Garret Dillahunt) refers to as "white Morgan Freeman."
