Earmuff your horses. Cloris Leachman is checking into the hospital at the heart of HawthoRNe, TNT's new medical drama premiering Tuesday, June 16, and starring Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Vartan.
Apparently still enjoying some heat from her recent Dancing with the Stars run, Leachman will play Mrs. Lachman (heh), a cantankerous patient who terrorizes the nurses — Pinkett Smith's Chief Nurse Christina Hawthorne included — by, for example, throwing perfectly good Jell-O at them.

It was another astonishing Cloris Leachman moment. When the cameras stopped rolling on Tuesday night, pro Derek Hough pulled Leachman into his arms and took her for a breathtaking spin around the floor. "Wasn't that brilliant?" Michael "Lord Of The Dance" Flatley asked after the show. "He ran right out, the first one, gave her a kiss and took her for a spin. World-class. Hats off to Derek."
