Jamie Lee Curtis has signed on for what could mark her first TV series in more than two decades.

The veteran actress will star in the CBS medical drama pilot from Brothers & Sisters executive producer David Marshall Grant, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The complete pilot report: CBS has HIMYM and NCIS spin-offs

The untitled project is a soapy medical show centered around quadruplets — three brothers and a sister — who grew up on a reality show. Curtis will play Caroline, the quadruplets' mother, a dynamic and distinguished physician who now runs the hospital.

If picked up to series, it would be Curtis' first since the 1989 sitcom Anything But Love, for which she won a Golden Globe award. In recent years, she has recurred on NCIS, as a love interest for Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and on New Girl, as Jess' mom. Curtis will next appear in the Veronica Mars movie.

Elementaryproducers Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly will executive-produce this project with Grant, Arik Kneller, Avi Armoza, Tariq Jalil, David Garrett, Yona Wiesenthal, Eilon Ratzkovsky, Givora Yaholom and Oren Jakobi.
