The current season of Raising Hope will be the sitcom's last, Fox announced Monday.

The one-hour series finale event will take place with back-to-back episodes on Friday, April 4 beginning at 9/8c.

Fall TV Scorecard: What's renewed? What's canceled?

"On behalf of myself, Greg Garcia and Raising Hope's amazing cast and crew, I would like to thank our audience for tuning in and supporting us over the last four seasons," executive producer Mike Mariano said in a statement. "We planned our Season Four finale with this possibility in mind, and hope our loyal fans enjoy the way we've chosen to say goodbye to the Chances and to Natesville. Thanks again, and we'll see you in syndication."

The first episode of the finale, "How I Met Your Mullet," will feature guest star Lesley Nicol (Downton Abbey) as Jimmy (Lucas Neff) and Sabrina's (Shannon Woodward) new maid. In the second episode, "The Father Daughter Dance," guest star Jeffrey Tambor returns as Virginia's (Martha Plimpton) father, and brings with him a big surprise for Virginia and Burt (Garret Dillahunt). Kenny Loggins will also guest-star as himself in the episode.
