Community fans, start mobilizing. That's the message from Sony Pictures Television, the studio behind the NBC sitcom. Community hasn't been renewed for a sixth season and remains very much on the bubble — which is why the producers and stars behind the show are rallying fans to show their support.

As part of an 11th hour bid to save the show, Sony has produced a series of Community-themed movie poster parodies to spread online and via social media. The idea of using feature film gags was inspired by show's now infamous "Six Seasons and a Movie" mantra.

"Six Seasons and a Movie" began as a joke in a Season 2 episode but is now a real possibility should the show return for a sixth season this fall. TV Guide Magazine recently revealed that the show's producers are keen on doing a Community movie, and have even identified Justin Lin (who has directed episodes of the series) as a potential director. But first, a sixth season needs to happen.

To push the conversation forward, the entire Community cast on Monday used their Twitter accounts to share fake movie posters that used their characters to parody The Social Network. Star Alison Brie's post was retweeted more than 4,000 times.

On Tuesday, Community fan and one-time guest star Nathan Fillion (Castle) also uploaded a faux movie poster on Twitter. Now, TV Guide Magazine has an exclusive look at the latest poster: A take on the 2000 Tom Hanks feature Cast Away— but with Troy (Donald Glover) in the lead role. Glover left the show earlier this season, and his character was last seen hitting the open seas on a boat trip around the world.

But now, the fate of Troy is up in the air — just like Community. The show's fate will be revealed on or before May 12, the day NBC announces its fall 2014 schedule.
