The Closer: Watch an Exclusive Clip from the Finale

On Monday's Season 5 finale of The Closer, guest star Mary McDonnell makes a return visit as Capt. Sharon Raydor, and if the past has taught us anything, we'll see plenty of squaring off between Raydor and Brenda Leigh (Kyra Sedgwick).

But don't take our word for it: Check out an exclusive video from the finale below. In the clip, Raydor asks Brenda for help in a possible case of spousal abuse involving a fellow officer. Brenda, a little busy with her own cases, clearly feels she has better things to do.The tension isn't likely to end there. Series creator James Duff tells TVGuide.com that Brenda's handling of the case will ultimately take a serious turn.
