ABC will run two promos for its interview with Charlie Sheen during the Oscar telecast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The news conflicts with an earlier report that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences had pressured ABC to keep the promos out of the broadcast.

Charlie Sheen's first television interview to air on ABC

Parts of Sheen's interview — his first TV sit-down since Two and a Half Men was pulled for the remainder of the season — will air on Good Morning Americaon Monday and Tuesday. The bulk of the interview with ABC News correspondent Andrea Canning will be included in a special edition of 20/20airing Tuesday at 10/9c. Sheen also recently sat down with Radar Online for a series of special interviews set to begin on Monday.

Charlie Sheen: A timeline of bad behavior

Sheen has appeared on several radio shows since Two and a Half Men went on hiatus at the end of January to allow time for him to enter rehab. Hours after he called Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre a "charlatan" and a "clown," CBS and Warner Bros. Television announced production for the season had been discontinued "based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition."

Sheen responded by saying he would return to the series for Season 9 if Lorre is not involved.

In the first promo for his ABC interview, Sheen says he's on a drug "called Charlie Sheen."
