Cee Lo and Adam Levine Picked as Judges on The Voice

Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will serve as judges for NBC's upcoming singing competition series The Voice, the network announced Monday. "These amazing artists are the perfect inspiration for our contestants to look up to as they begin their journeys from 'voices' to true artists — and any hopeful singer would be incredibly lucky to have either one as their coach," network executive Paul Telegdy said in a statement.

The Voice will feature four famous musicians (including Grammy winners Green and Levine) who will select singers to mentor. Two other judges will be named later.

Once the teams are created, the coaches will bring in their songwriters and producers to help work with their groups. Viewers will decide who wins a recording contract and $100,000.
