Nickelodeon hit two ratings records Monday with its premiere of Big Time Rush and an all-new episode of iCarly.

Nickelodeon hit two ratings records Monday with its premiere of Big Time Rush and an all-new episode of iCarly.

Following the wild ride of four best friends who go from hockey-loving teenaged boys in Minnesota to potential pop stars in Los Angeles, Big Time Rush scored 6.8 million viewers and was Nick's most-watched live-action premiere with kids and tweens, Nickelodeon stated in a press release. Beginning Jan. 22, the series will move to Fridays at 8:30/7:30c.

iCarly, the top series on television for kids ages 2 to 11, had its highest rated episode of all time. The episode titled "iSaved Your Life" garnered 11.2 million viewers. iCarly is currently in its third season and stars Miranda Cosgrove as Carly, who produces her own web series, iCarly, with best friends Sam and Freddie.
