Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Lost's Titus Welliver to Reprise Role From Marvel Short Film

Titus Welliver is set to reprise his role from Marvel One-Shot: Item 47 on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel announced Thursday.

In Item 47, which was released on The AvengersBlu-ray, the Lostalum played S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent John Blake, who is tasked with tracking down a couple who find a Chitauri gun, which they use to rob banks.

ABC gives Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. a full-season pickup

When floating bodies turn up in an upcoming episode of S.H.I.E.L.D., titled "FZZT," Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team must hunt down an elusive killer. Blake will apparently help the team during the episode.

Blake will likely be shocked to find that Agent Coulson is alive. In Item 47, he and a fellow agent reminisce about Coulson following his death. Here's hoping Blake's arrival means Lizzy Caplan may appear, since her character, half of that couple, became his assistant in Item 47.

In addition to playing the Man in Black on Lost, Welliver is known for his roles on The Good Wife, Sons of Anarchy, Deadwood and CSI, among others.
