Animated antics of the constantly grousing Griffins, a family that put some fun in dysfunctional. While dad Peter is a tad dim and lazy, mum Lois is none of the above. Then there are hapless teenagers Meg and Chris; sassy baby Stewie, who's wise (and a wise guy) beyond his years; and family dog Brian, who might be the smartest of the lot.

This lowbrow hit about the Bundys, TV's first family of raunch, made the new Fox network a player. The long-running series prospered despite threats of sponsor boycotts and the ire of some critics, who objected to the show's offbeat, sometimes coarse humor. TV Guide's reviewer, however, applauded the sharp, funny lines, calling the series an antidote to the 'hundreds of sugary [sitcoms].'
Working at the Mound of Sound recording studio, Lisa had fantasies of becoming a rock star, though she knew that it was unlikely. She and her husband of eight years, Jack, who ran a struggling sports good store, had two children, seven-year-old Danny and four-month old Delilah. To complicate their lives, Lisa's crabby mother, Gloria and her cheery sister, Gloria were frequent intruders in their lives. At work, she had to deal with her boss, Chandler, who frequently made stupid commercials.
Osbournes Reloaded is a short-lived 2009 variety show that aired its only episode on Fox. The show was hosted by The Osbournes — Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly — and premiered Tuesday March 31 on Fox following American Idol. Fremantle Media North America, the producers of American Idol, produced the show. The show was also taped in the same studio as American Idol at CBS Television City in Hollywood. The show consisted of sketches, stunts, celebrity cameos, live action audience participation and live musical acts such as Fall Out Boy, and would have included taped parody skits often featuring Ozzy in drag playing such characters as Audrina from The Hills and Juno. Other bits include the Osbournes working "real jobs", a recurring Littlest Osbournes segment, and the Osbournes meeting other families from across the country that share their name.
