When you hear the name "Kevin Costner," you think of three things: baseball, cowboys and Waterworld. His new series Yellowstone will see him back in the saddle as a modern, wealthy, black-hat version of the second of those things.

Yellowstone comes to the Paramount Network Wednesday, June 20 and the series got a new trailer on Thursday. Costner stars in the drama as John Dutton, owner of the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, who is beset on all sides by people trying to take it from him -- land developers, a nearby Native American reservation and the Parks Department. But he didn't get where he is without being ruthless.

"I don't regret one sin I've committed," he says. "It's the one I'm about to commit that worries me."

John Dutton is the patriarch of an ambitious, dysfunctional family, and his brood is played by Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes and Dave Annable. The show is created by Hell or High Water's Taylor Sheridan, who writes, directs and executive-produces.

It's the recently-launched Paramount Network's flagship drama series, and the network is trying to compete with both USA, TNT and HBO, so they spared no expense in trying to make it good. We were already excited to see it, and after seeing this trailer, the anticipation has only risen.

Yellowstone premieres Wednesday, June 20 at 9/8c on the Paramount Network.
