As Joy Behar's last day approaches and rumors swirl about Elisabeth Hasselbeck's future, the question on everyone's minds is: Who will join The View? Well, everyone's except co-host Whoopi Goldberg's.
"Let me tell you this about The View: I take a paycheck every other week. That's all I do. I could give a sh-- what comes," Goldberg told Us Weekly. "I do my job -- I have a contract. That's where I stand. I don't give a f---."
Stars who deserve a late-night talk show
So why isn't Goldberg, 57, more invested in who she may potentially drink coffee with every day? "I don't care. That's not my job," she said. "My job is to show up and be cute by 11 o'clock and get the f--- off that show by 12. And that's what I try to do."
Goldberg, who has been with the show since 2007, says she keeps her distance from the casting news to keep her sanity. "These are not decisions that I get to make," Goldberg told Us. "It ain't my show. It's Barbara [Walters]' show."
What do you think of Goldberg's comments? Who do you think should join The View?
