Vin Diesel is adding TV producer to his list of titles that already include global movie star, producer and director. The Fast & Furious star has signed a multi-year first look deal with NBC television -meaning that NBC will have first dibs on any TV show Diesel wants to produce with his company One Race Productions.

First up, Diesel and One Race will be turning their Chronicles of Riddick franchise into a television show. Diesel starred in and produced three films in the franchise with One Race as well as a critically acclaimed video game. There's no word on whether Diesel will star in the drama or which timeline of Riddick's adventures the TV show will tackle.

Riddick may be the first to make the transfer to television, but the deal allows for other One Race Production features to get the same treatment. Diesel has been a producer on four of the highest grossing Fast & Furious films, which could mean extreme street racing could find its way into your home on a weekly basis.

Diesel will most likely be looking for original programming to bring to the network as well, but does that mean there's no chance for a The Pacifier sitcom? That movie is better than everyone thinks.

Diesel fans should stay tuned because this could mean really big things for the movie star in the television world.
