ABC's hit medical drama has recruited Hawaii Five-0's Will Yun Lee as a guest star, EW reports. Lee will appear in a multi-episode arc starting in February. He'll be playing Alex Park, a former cop who decided to undergo a major career change and become a doctor. His experience on the force made him an expert on reading people, something which proves more than useful within the walls of St. Bonaventure Hospital.

Lee has had a recurring role Hawaii Five-0 since the very first episode as informant Sang Min. He most recently appeared in an episode last February.

His Good Doctor arc will reunite him with his Hawaii Five-0 co-worker Daniel Dae Kim. Kim is an executive producer on The Good Doctor and starred on Hawaii Five-0 for seven seasons before leaving last summer.

"I'm excited to watch Will bring this new character to life," Kim said in a statement to EW. "Not only is he a talented actor, he's a consummate pro who makes a great addition to our already exceptional cast. We're lucky to have him."

This isn't the only exciting gig Lee has lined up for February; he's also starring in Netflix's sci-fi series Altered Carbon, which premieres Friday, Feb. 2.

Last week The Good Doctor also added Wilfred's Fiona Gubelmann for a five-episode recurring role with the option to become a series regular in Season 2. She'll also be making her debut in February as well, playing Morgan, a new resident at the hospital.

The Good Doctor airs Mondays at 10/9c on ABC.
