The Fosters: Which of the Girls Is in the Most Danger?

Danger is lurking around the corner for both Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) heading into The Fosters summer finale next week. So much so that it's beginning to make us worry that one of them could be to the character to "say goodbye" as the show's ominous previews have teased.

We'll start with Callie, whose Nancy Drew-like antics have led her to poking a bear all season. Upon hearing that Kyle -- Callie's former foster brother currently serving a sentence in juvenile detention for a murder he didn't commit -- would be moving to prison ahead of schedule, Callie takes it upon herself to the find the DNA evidence needed to get his case re-opened. Of course, that means breaking in to the real murderer's house and stealing his toothbrush. Callie manages to make it out of the house unscathed, but the suspect sees her escape and follows her to the Adams-Foster home. So now a murderer knows where the family lives. Thanks, Callie! Real smart!

Elsewhere, it looks like Mariana's worst nightmare will also come to fruition in next Monday's finale, when Nick (Louis Hunter) returns home from his stint in a psychiatric facility. She'd been hoping he'd be locked away long enough for him to forget his delusions of their short relationship, but now he's out and ready to pick up where they left off. That will put Mariana in a compromised position as she comes clean that she's not really in love with him and was only pretending to be so he wouldn't kill himself while receiving treatment.

The series of poor choices both girls have made this season have put them both in extremely dangerous situations, and it has us worried that they won't be able to make it out unscathed.
