The Bachelorette Fans Demand More Joe the Hot Grocery Store Owner

He's the produce king of the South Side of Chicago!

The Bachelorette's season premiere introduced a gaggle of handsome young men, but one in particular stood out to many fans: Joe from Chicago, owner of a winning smile and a grocery store. Joe's very normal job and thick Chicago accent made him seem more authentic and down-to-earth than the NFL players and venture capitalists that made up so much of the rest of the cast.

But sadly, it was not to be. Joe was so nervous when he introduced himself to Becca that he forgot how to speak. She said he was handsome and it fried his brain. Inside the mansion, Becca said it was "cute" that he owned a grocery store. As soon as she said that, his fate was sealed. Would she say "cute" to a football player? She would not.

At the end of the episode, Joe was sent home. But even though Becca said no to Joe, Bachelor Nation wanted more. He's this season's hot veteran Blake, who got sent home night one against fans' wishes last season.

Sorry, Bec. Joe probably won't be on Bachelor in Paradise. People who get sent home on the first night rarely come back. You may have to be content with following him on Instagram, where you'll get nice posts like this:

Happy Mother's Day mamacita!!!
