The Bachelor's Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Welcome Baby Girl

The Bachelor's Lauren Burnham has given birth to her first child, a girl named Alessi Ren Luyendyk, with husband Arie Luyendyk Jr, according to Arie's Instagram. Both "mommy and baby are doing great," Arie wrote, noting the child was born at 2:09 p.m. on May 29 and weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Lauren went into labor Tuesday afternoon, and couple began posting from the hospital late last night, giving regular status updates on social media. They were in good spirits throughout, with Arie sharing an Instagram story of Lauren pushing him around the hospital in a wheelchair. The caption read, "Her idea not mine." Right before Lauren went into the delivery room, they shared their last-minute predictions about her weight ("6 pounds, 18 ounces," Lauren said, while Arie predicted 7 pounds even) and hair and eye color (dark hair, blue eyes, like Arie).

Arie and Lauren were married in Hawaii on January 12, 2019, 10 months after they got engaged on live TV during The Bachelor's Season 22 finale. Their marriage took a twisty path into existence, with Arie first proposing to Becca Kufrin before changing his mind and going back to Lauren, originally the runner-up on his season. They live in Arizona.

They're one of three couples who met on The Bachelor to marry and have kids, after Jason and Molly Mesnick and Sean and Catherine Lowe.
