On The Bachelor's final finale, Arie Luyendyk Jr. got engaged to Lauren Burnham, who he should have gotten engaged to in the first place. But instead he took a detour and got engaged to Becca Kufrin first. And we all know how that worked out. But he apologized to Becca, she accepted his apology, and now everyone is going to try to move on with their lives.

Arie and Lauren made their first appearance together as a couple. They explained the timeline: Arie sent her an Instagram DM on New Year's Eve (the day before the premiere) and asked if she could talk. He broke up with Becca a few days later, and reunited with Lauren soon after that. They've been together ever since. They're going to take a vacation out of the country and avoid social media, and then Lauren is going to move to Arizona to be with him. They said that this crazy experience has brought them closer together. They didn't watch Arie and Becca's breakup, but Lauren should. She should see what Arie did.

Why? Because people are worried that Arie is going to do something like this again. Or they at least think that the relationship is going to fail. A relationship that starts from a place of avoidance and insecurity like Lauren and Arie's seems doomed.

Arie and Lauren have a hard road ahead of them, but as we were reminded tonight, Jason Mesnick also went back to his runner-up, and he and Molly are still together nine years later. It's not unprecedented. Only time will tell.

What do you think? Are these crazy kids gonna make it?
