It's not even April but renewals for next season are already starting to arrive!

CBS is kicking things off by granting sophomore seasons to two of its top rated new dramas; both SEAL Team andS.W.A.T. will return to the schedule next fall.

SEAL Team, starring Bones' David Boreanez, is the No. 1 new show of the fall in total viewers with an average of 10.23 million per episode. It lags behind The Good Doctor in the key 18-to-49 demographic though. Meanwhile, S.W.A.T. ranks second in the total viewers game at 9.08 million viewers per episode.

"These exciting new dramas have been sensational additions to our schedule, are striking all the right notes creatively, and really connect with our viewers," said Kelly Kahl, president of CBS Entertainment, in a statement. "SEAL Team has strengthened our Wednesday line up -- routinely winning its time period with over 10 million viewers and allowing us to build an even more powerful night, while S.W.A.T. has improved Thursday's 10:00 PM hour by over 2.5 million viewers versus last season."

S.W.A.T. is Shemar Moore's first starring role after spending 11 seasons on CBS' Criminal Minds. The cop procedural also won TV Guide's Fall Popularity Contest last November. S.W.A.T. and SEAL Team join Young Sheldon as being the only freshman shows on CBS to score renewals so far.

SEAL Team airs Wednesdays at 9/8c while S.W.A.T. airs Thursdays at 10/9c, both on CBS.
