Supernatural Season 9 Extended Promo: Sam's Dying!

The Winchesters have literally been to Hell and back, but there are only so many times you can cheat death. So has Sam's (Jared Padalecki) luck run out?

In the extended promo for Supernatural's Season 9 premiere, Dean (Jensen Ackles) remains hopeful about his brother's condition, promising, "Just because you're dying doesn't mean you're dead. We're gonna fight this." Unfortunately, Sam isn't too confident, telling his brother, "There's nothing left to fight for."

Of course, Dean refuses to go down without trying. So he enlists the fallen angel Ezekiel (Tahmoh Penikett) to get inside Sam's head.

Meanwhile, things aren't looking up for the newly mortal Castiel (Misha Collins) either. Though he once again has the best intentions and wants to help the fallen angels, he soon learns he's not their savior — he's their target!
