In addition to the upcoming project, which was given a script commitment from NBC, DeGeneres' production company also plans to release a direct-to-video film starring the two cousins as versions of themselves. In the movie, Sophia Grace, 10, and Rosie, 7, are sent to be correspondents at a royal coronation where one of three princesses is going to be chosen to lead the country. The two girls find themselves caught up in royal intrigue as they help the best candidate win the throne. Production begins next month.
