Sean Young has taken a liking to Genoa City.
The 50-year-old actress, who appeared in five episodes of The Young and the Restless in June, will return to the daytime drama beginning July 14, a show rep says.
Her return is open-ended and she is expected to stick around through August, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news.
Young, best known for her movie roles in Blade Runner and No Way Out, made her daytime debut playing Meggie, a bartender with an eye for Victor (Eric Braeden). Young and Braeden are friends, having worked together on the 2007 film The Man Who Came Back.
Young is the most recent in a number of casting coups for the long-running CBS series. David Hasselhoff reprised his role for several episodes last month and Eric Roberts is set to join the cast July 12.
