James Van Der Beek Mocks "Sad Dawson" in New Funny or Die Video

Some actors would be offended by being best remembered for looking ugly while crying. Thank goodness James Van Der Beek is not one of those actors.

In a new Funny or Die video posted Tuesday, the former Dawson's Creek star announces the launch of his new site, JamesVanderMemes.com, and shows fans of his infamous "sad Dawson" meme that he has so much more to give. "The more I saw websites' comment sections mocking the sadness of others, the more I realized what the Internet was really demanding: more intense emotional close-ups of my face," the 33-year-old actor says.
