Ryan O'Neal, Son Charged with Drug Possession

Ryan O'Neal and his son Redmond were both formally charged with felony possession of methamphetamine on Wednesday, People reports.The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office also hit Redmond, 23, with two misdemeanor charges for possession of drug paraphernalia and one for possession of pepper spray.The two are scheduled for a Nov. 13 arraignment.Father and son were arrested Sept. 17 on suspicion of drug possession when authorities found methamphetamine in the elder O'Neal's bedroom during a routine home probation search, stemming from Redmond's 2007 DUI arrest.Since then, Ryan O'Neal's lawyer has denied the drugs belonged to the actor, and Redmond has been ordered to rehab.
