Watch her final farewell
Rosie O'Donnell filmed her final episode as co-host of The View Thursday, ending her second stint on the show. But will she return?
"We've had fun and I hope we're going to have more," O'Donnell said. "I'll come back and do an occasional crafting segment, because I have a hot glue gun and I will travel."
Rosie O'Donnell leaving The View following split with wife
Before her exit, O'Donnell (holding her 2-year-old daughter Dakota in her arms) thanked the show's fans, her co-hosts, and former co-host Barbara Walters, who O'Donnell said "has always looked out for me and my life and career and is an amazing woman."
"We had lunch yesterday and she sends her love, and I want to thank her for making this show and letting me be on it -- twice!" she added.
In a YouTube video released earlier this week, O'Donnell, who suffered a heart attack two years ago, explained that she is leaving The View in order to minimize stress in her life. She and her wife of two and a half years, Michelle Rounds, separated in November.
