The Hollywood Reporterfirst announced Romijn's gig in King and Maxwell, a series about two ex-Secret Service agents based on David Baldacci's crime novels. In the drama, Romijn will play Michelle Maxwell, a former agent who begins working political cases in Washington, D.C., after her forced resignation.
In a moment of déjà vu, Sorvino has once again signed on to star in Trooper, a procedural about a divorcee New York state trooper, TVLine reports. Last spring, the same project was in development at CBS with Sorvino in the lead. After the network passed, TNT picked it up and green-lit a new pilot.
Sorvino will reprise her role as KJ Faxton, a quirky state trooper with three kids whose partner has a more conventional working style.
