Ratings: Community Grows in Return; Scandal Ties High

Community boosted Parks and Recreation (3.8 million, 2.0) to a season high and The Office (4.2 million, 2.1) rising two-tenths. 1600 Penn (2.8 million, 1.1) andDo No Harm (2.2 million, 0.7), however, both dropped, with the latter plummeting 22 percent.CBS won the night, led by The Big Bang Theory (18.8 million, 6.1), which was up 13 percent. Airing its first episode since its post-Super Bowl show, Elementary (11 million, 2.3) rose a tenth.Big Bang beat American Idol (13.1 million, 4.1) by a full two points in the demo, as the Fox series fell four-tenths.Glee (6 million, 2.2) inched up a tenth.On ABC, Grey's Anatomy (8.8 million, 3.1) was up 11 percent and Scandal (8 million, 2.8) tied a series high.8 p.m.
