Kanye West was just one of many stars who took the stage at Wednesday's 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert at Madison Square Garden, but he was the only one whose outfit had people talking long after the music had ended.

The rapper, who's currently dating Kim Kardashian, performed a medley of his hits, including "Jesus Walks," "Power" and "Runaway" — all while donning a Givenchy black knee-length leather skirt and what appeared to be leggings.

The fashion choice even sparked its own Twitter handle by the end of the concert: @KanyesSkirt.

"Thinking of getting therapy to deal with the trauma of last night. Even Mick Jagger told me I was too much," a sample tweet reads.
