The final Twilight film finally fell from the top spot at the box office, but Gerard Butler wasn't the one to take Bella and Edward down.

Rise of the Guardians rose to second place, with $10.5 million. Breaking Dawn Part 2 grabbed $9.2 million to follow in third place. Lincoln and Life of Pi claimed the No. 4 and No. 5 spots, taking in $9.1 million and $8.3 million, respectively.
Butler's new film, Playing for Keeps, failed to score with audiences, netting just $6 million in its opening weekend to debut in sixth place. At No. 7, Wreck-It Ralphdrew $4.9 million.
Rounding out the top 10: Red Dawn (No. 8, $4.2 million), Flight (No. 9, $3.1 million) and Killing Them Softly(No. 10, $2.7 million).
