So Davina Claire and Stefan Salvatore walk into a bar...

No, no, we kid! But The Vampire Diaries' Paul Wesley and The Originals' Danielle Campbell will be sharing the screen this year in Kevin Williamson's new fairy tale drama, Tell Me a Story.

Tell Me a Story will air on CBS All Access, and it will put a dark twist on the classic stories we all know and love like The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel. It's described as an "epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge and murder." Like a grown-up version of Once Upon a Time, perhaps?

Deadline reports that Wesley will play Eddie, "a derelict and troubled individual whose petulance is fueled even more by his problems with drugs and alcohol." Though Wesley's character is a bartender, he also happens to be a low-level drug dealer and part-time thief with his partner (and older brother) Mitch, who sounds like kind of a bully, constantly treating Eddie like the lowly delinquent that he is.

Hmmm, we can't help but wonder if Wesley's Eddie will be part of the "bad crowd" Danielle Campbell's character, Kayla, falls into.
