Paul Walker's Family Planning a Private Funeral

Paul Walker's family is planning a private funeral for the actor, People reports. The coroner released his body to Forest Lawn Mortuaries on Tuesday.

Walker, 40, and his friend Roger Rodas died last month in a fiery car accident in Santa Clarita, Calif., when the Porsche Carrera GT they were in crashed into a tree and a light pole. The two were attending an event for Walker's charity, Reach Out Worldwide, which was raising money for those affected by the recent typhoon in the Philippines. 
Autopsy results revealed Walker died from the effects of traumatic and thermal injuries and Rodas from multiple traumatic injuries suffered upon impact. A memorial for the Fast and Furious actor over the weekend drew thousands of fans. 

Universal plans to donate a portion of the proceeds from Fast & Furious 6's DVD and Blu-ray sales to Walker's charity. Production on Fast & Furious 7, which Walker was filming at the time of his death, is currently on hold.
