Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler Reunite for Crafting Competition Series

If you're a nut for DIY crafts and Parks and Recreationthen boy, do we have great news for you!

Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler are reuniting on NBC to host and executive produce a six-episode competition series called Making It. The series will bring together eight of the country's most talented "Makers" to take on a series of handmade projects. Offerman and Poehler will serve as hosts, while crafting experts Simon Doonan (Creative Ambassador for Barneys New York) and Dayna Isom Johnson (Etsy trend expert) will serve as judges.

"At the very most, you will fall in love with our Makers, get introduced to a world you may not know anything about and even get inspired to make something at home! At the very least, you will learn what vellum is," Poehler said in a statement.

For those of you not fluent in in DIY, vellum is basically tracing paper.

"As a woodworker myself, I'm awfully proud to showcase all these talented Makers and be reunited with my charismatic pal Amy to boot," Offerman said. "The question is: Is America thready for this? (Strap in, our show will be pun heavy)."

Each episode will consist of two projects thought up by Poehler and Offerman that will be designed to "test the Makers' ability to think outside of the box in unpredictable ways."

So basically, it's Project Runway for arts and crafts? That's AMAZING. Make it work, crafters!

This show sounds like a killer combination of wisecracking and artsy creations, and the best part is you only have to wait a few months to see it!

Making It premieres Tuesday, July 31 at 10/9c on NBC.
