If you've ever played World of Warcraft or Second Life or heck, even Pokemon Go a little bit, then you know that sometimes you need someone to give you a little help to check back in to reality. Enter Sarah Shahi!

Shahi will star in NBC's Reverie, a thriller which will see the Person of Interest star play Mara Kint, a former hostage negotiator and expert on human behavior who is tasked with saving people who go too deep into a virtual reality program that allows users to live out their dreams. So it's Fantasy Island for the modern age? As Mara has experienced personal tragedy herself, she discovers that helping others is a way to help save herself. Deep, man.

The show comes from Extant creator Mickey Fisher, and also stars Dennis Haysbert, Jessica Lu, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Kathryn Morris.
