Both 30 Rockand Parenthoodhave been renewed for shortened seasons, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Tina Fey's 30 Rock will return for a 13-episode seventh and final season. 30 Rock's recent outing drew 3.04 million viewers, down from its Season 6 premiere, which brought in 4.47 million viewers.

Fall TV Scorecard: Which shows are returning? Which aren't?

The news that this will be the final year for the TGS gang comes as no surprise since Alec Baldwin has been vocal in recent months about the show's end date and even tweeted about leaving NBC last month. Star and creator Fey did not deny those rumors when she appeared on The View. "I think that he just maybe means that the end of the show ... is visible on the horizon," she said.

The network picked up Parenthood for a 15-episode fourth season, shortened from last year's 18-episode order. The renewal comes as a surprise since Parenthood is a perennial bubble show. The Season 3 finale drew 5.16 million viewers, down from the 6.29 million that tuned in for the premiere. In comparison, the series debuted back in 2010 to 8.1 million viewers.

Report: 30 Rock Close to Deal for Shortened Final Season

The news comes shortly after NBC renewed Law & Order: SVUfor a 14th season, along with ordering eight new pilots for the fall. Previously renewed series include Grimmand Smash.
