The premiere episode of Nashville's third season will include two live performances by the cast, Entertainment Tonight reports.

Chris Carmack, who plays closeted star Will Lexington, will perform "If It's Love" by The Striking Matches, and Charles Esten, who stars as Rayna's first love Deacon Claybourne, will sing "I Know How to Love You Now," co-written by Esten and Deana Carter.

Nashville: Will Juliette be pregnant in Season 3?

The Wednesday, Sept. 24 premiere (9/8c, ABC) will feature two unique sets of performances, one for the east coast broadcast and a second for the west coast.

Carmack and Esten's performances will be broadcast live from the Bluebird Café set and both the studio tracks and live renditions of the songs will be immediately available for download on iTunes after the episode airs.

This is the first time a scripted drama has mixed in live musical performances. Are you excited?
