Three of Nashville's recurring cast members will be singing a happier tune this upcoming season.

The O.C. alum Chris Carmack, and sisters Lennon and Maisy Stella have been promoted to series regulars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Carmack, best known as the waterpolo-playing, fight-starting Luke on the teen soap, first popped up towards the end of Season 1 as Scarlett and Gunnar's new neighbor, Will. A close friend of both, Will has struggled with his homosexuality, which he revealed to Gunnar when he made a move on him despite his image as a ladies man. Like so many characters on Nashville, Will wants to make it big in country music and will start working with Rayna (Connie Britton) this coming season. "Ultimately Rayna is going to have a working relationship with him and it's wrought with all the complications that the audience is aware of and Rayna is not," showrunner Dee Johnson recently told TVGuide.com.

The Stella sisters, who play Rayna and Teddy's children, have been familiar faces on the ABC drama since the pilot. The duo first broke out on YouTube and have shared several memorable performances on screen, most notably their cover of The Lumineers' "Ho Hey." This coming season will see Lennon's character, Maddie, deal with the revelation that her father is actually Deacon (Charles Esten) and not Teddy (Eric Close).
