Two Nashvillestars are leaving the show ahead of its move to CMT.

TVLine reports that Will Chase, who plays Luke Wheeler, and Aubrey Peeples, who plays Layla Grant, are exiting the show. As previously announced, Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick are also taking over as showrunners from Dee Johnson.

Fall TV Scorecard: What's renewed? What's canceled?

There's no word on whether other cast members will also leave the show before its CMT debut. Stars Connie Britton and Chris Carmack previously spoke out against the anti-LGBT law that was recently passed in Tennessee, saying they would find it difficult to continue working in the state because of the legislation.

After being canceled by ABC in May, Nashville was picked up by CMT, in partnership with Hulu, earlier this month. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
