When Parenthood returns for its fifth season on NBC this fall, Monica Potter's character, Kristina, will be back with a new attitude — and a new look.

Potter unveiled her new blond bob on Twitter this week, E! Online reports. "The new hair!!" she tweeted, along with a picture.

The actress had also turned to her fans on social media for suggestions about which new style she should decide on. "Thanks to everyone for your help picking out my new haircut-I really took all you choices to heart and it helped so much!!!" Potter tweeted Friday. "Thank you!"

With Kristina battling breast cancer throughout Season 4 and finding out in the finale that she was cancer-free, Potter said she's hoping for some lighter storylines next season.
