Mischa Barton Says No to The O.C. Reunion: "It Doesn't Feel Right"

Following last week's 10-year anniversary of The O.C.'s debut, fans are clamoring for a reunion of the cast. However, Mischa Barton, who starred as Marissa Cooper for three years, isn't so hot on getting the Newport gang back together.

"You know — never say never," Barton, 27, told Us Weekly. "But, I think things have to feel right, and it doesn't feel right. You can't say that you feel one way or another about things, but before The O.C. I was on track to do some great films, as well, and one thing happens, and then I got this mega stardom all from this show. It is what it is, but I'm not looking to get sucked back into the limelight of it."

Creator Josh Schwartz recently told TVGuide.com that producers wanted to reunite the cast to commemorate the 10-year anniversary, "but in order to do that we wanted everybody to participate and to want to participate."

The O.C.: Where are they now?

Barton, whose character was killed off at the end of Season 3, admits she hasn't kept in touch with her former castmates. "I don't," she told the magazine. "I mean, I run into people every once in a while, but I'm doing my own thing. I work a lot, so I feel like I'm never around in L.A. and I know that Ben [McKenzie] and Rachel [Bilson] work on shows here."
